Curious Case
Benjamin Button: For what it's worth: it's never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.

I also got the black hardcase for my 15" Macbook Pro. It's badasssss.
Anywayyys, I should keep ya'll updated more on myself rather than the things I want, haha. Started the new semester the beginning of this week. I'm currently taking: Spanish, Physical Geography, Constitutional Law, International Relations, and American History since 1877. I like my classes alot more this semester, and it's going really good so far. I am so excited for this new year. I've been keeping fairly busy, coming home kinda late and I haven't even started my radio station duties yet! Not til this upcoming Monday. Busy, Busy, Busy. I like it alot. It's more... me.
Speaking of more me: I feel back to normal again. I have a renewed sense of joy, a certain outlook on life that seems familiar. It's weird, I feel as if I'm just sloughing off the excess, dusting things that pull me down. Towards the end of the first semester, I had been feeling worn out, some events had just drained me (how many times can i shatter until i break?). and just plain annoyed. But now I've hit the ground running, and I am just so relieved. I mean.. What does a New Year really even mean? That you no long write 08 on your checks? The symbolism of it though really helped me... I felt as if I couldn't start over, until the new year started. Speaking of starting over... If you guys have not seen "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button"... watch it! I saw it on Christmas, and it was truely inspiring. In the ending scenes, there's a quote that really made me think: "If things get bad, I hope you have the strength to start over."
Anyways, I hope you all have had a wonderful second week of the new year. I know I have. Well, off to lunch with Alexander!
Love,
Tanya
